Andy Roszak, JD, MPA, EMT Paramedic
Founder and Executive Director, Institute for Childhood Preparedness
Andy Roszak is a nationally recognized expert in emergency preparedness for early childhood programs. He is the author of the award-winning "Preparing for the Unexpected" book series and serves as a senior advisor with Sesame Street in Communities. With experience spanning fire service, emergency medicine, federal public health, and law, Andy brings a uniquely practical perspective to keeping children and staff safe. He also founded Head Start East, a professional development organization serving the Head Start community.
Ronald Roszak
Senior Safety Advisor, Institute for Childhood Preparedness
Ronald Roszak serves as the Senior Safety Advisor for the Institute for Childhood Preparedness and previously supported Child Care Aware® of America as an emergency preparedness subject matter expert. He brings more than 20 years of law enforcement experience across patrol, investigations, tactical supervision, and community outreach, including early work as a DARE educator. Ronald is an ALICE-certified active shooter instructor and has conducted corporate investigations and private security work for Fortune 500 companies, earning recognition as Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
